The Community
Supporting Our Neighbors
Without the support of surrounding communities, the Resolution Project cannot succeed. We're currently working with the Town of Superior to support the community's vision for economic development and social stability. Our goal is to help with specific activities that jumpstart economic activity and, over the long term, maintain the area's economic sustainability.
Resolution Copper's commitment to community outreach is central to the success and support of our operations. We routinely host town hall-style meetings and open houses, and staff at our Mine Information office on Main Street in downtown Superior are available to answer questions and understand concerns. We've also organized community advisory committees throughout the region that we routinely brief on project developments. These committees provide us with valuable feedback on improvements we can make to become better neighbors.
Resolution Copper has also made substantial philanthropic contributions in the region and has partnered with environmental, educational, regional and state organizations to help encourage the economic resurgence and long-term sustainability of area communities.
Securing A New Workforce
In addition to addressing today's concerns, Resolution Copper is helping to build a future workforce by offering K-12 and secondary education programs that offer instruction in the areas of math and science. We partner with local community colleges, state universities and government organizations that share our desire to help students prepare for tomorrow's opportunities.
